Good day everyone, my name is Bob Azman from Malaysia. I used to work in Interior Design sector with majority time are working on 3D Visualization, I'm decide to explore digital art hoping I and everyone around here can find the opportunity to employ in Game Development sector or explore other part of ourself. I might taken time slowly study as I'm currently working but when I have time I will start putting my homework around here.

This is so detailed! Nice touch with the windows and sticks 😄 I have to admit I can't quite make out what's in the foreground on the left... A Wardrobe? But it is curved 🤔
Well anyways xD Besides that everything else looks nice and detailed ^.^

Tq tq, yep on the left supposedly is a wardrobe but because I wanted to try some mystical direction then hit the creative block, and that time I really want to finish this asap lol. So I just change the direction to old cabin style.

Finally have some time to practice and do some assignment and head straight through Term 3, straight find any sundress related picture to draw, kinda regret to choose this picture since the cloth in the picture have a lot of wrinkle but already half way through so I just try to finish it. Hey on positive side, I learn how the cloth drape.
Definitely need more practice.

On the other part, I have been daily practice the muscle anatomy, still not comfortable to draw on skeleton only as I'm often failed to memorize the name. But I will try getting there eventually.

Continue muscle practice and assignment, keep feeling the anatomy has some error. I'm using reference muscle anatomy found by Google Search so it's feel kinda weird and it doesn't feel 'wow'.

Assignment 4:
Took some holiday and procrastination eventually have to restart back and practice.
Took some time to memorize the muscle anatomy too (not that I can remember everything hehe).
While I was thinking about how to do color harmony, I was thinking best course of practice as combination to do a package all in one hehe. So I decided to draw a character 'Xiao' in 'Genshin Impact' and try to play with the color palette. Somehow I create EVA-02 color palette without realization hehe.
Anyway here's the assignment.
Color Harmony

Cast Shadow (Complicated shaped will be done soon)

Full muscle anatomy (Start from trace by image to reference eventually pick the kicking pose with front angle (I guess?) since it can 'almost' capture all muscle. Took the longest time but I still unable to memorize muscle anatomy.

Dang these studies are looking awesome!

Couple of things I noticed. The left box I think the leftmost part of the shadow is missing, and on the straight on figure (the one on the left) I think your serratus anterior is actually the external oblique (as it extends throughout the sidewall of the abdomen)

I still have no idea about color theory but it looks good 😃

Ohhhh yeahhh didn't notice until you mention about the shadow, thanks bruh.
Ahhh you mean the bald beffy guy I assume, you are actually right that indeed is external oblique and it's not Serratus Anterior as the pointy indication is. Didn't notice I made that mistake since I just continue drawing from old picture. Thanks for another point too.

Term 5 Assignment:
Decide to push this semester and start learning, after drawing for few week it feel like I'm reaching much further than previous term 1-4. I keep reaching brick wall in creative part but eventually at least overcome a little and thanks to Marc suggesting during his character design lecture and give some hindsight how he deal with the situation.
Here is my assignment for term 5:

Animal Muscle Anatomy
- Always thought animal have completely different muscle structure that I have to refer medical book for reference. After the course it give me some relieve that almost share the same muscle anatomy, but this does not give us excuse to stop learning.
- Animal Combination
  - The Toucan bird supposedly wanted to submit for character design challenge, but after drawing awhile I realize I lack a lot of art skill as my poor line art skill, poor color selection, and poor creativity pool. So I decide to use this as opportunity to draw animal combination to horn my skill.
Zbrush model
Decide to choose the most muscular free posing picture guy. Thought to be easy to sculpt and how naive to think I can do it in very short time. Felt embarrassing for not sculpt beautifully but every step is a learning process so I just slide it under the rug after 8 hour of sculpting hoping next time will be better.
Character Design
-The way I choose my character is by using the list from the lecture and put it at the wheel of name to randomize any characteristic to try challenge my creativity idea. Then 1 Male 1 Female character, I let the wheel spinning and I did not expect it pick a lot of weird choice together.
-The first character I try follow lecturer method by straight up painting the picture without drawing any line art and wait for the idea come in mind, kinda poor execution for drawing but I learn a lot from reference picture I found on other website and how to color it.
- Second character I again paint without art line, half way through and I get some idea and I decide to redraw with rough sketch but using some element from the paint. Gotta say it's my proudest art I draw so far.

Term 6

Good day folk, I decide to put my assignment compile all together so look more tidiness.

That's it for now, I will try post for the composition & story telling assignment no.2 when I free since going back to old artwork kinda not in the mood (huhu).
