I broke my only cable to my drawing monitor, so I have to wait for new one to arrive.
While I'm waiting for my cable, I will put some of my work before I broke my cable, and end the Term 7. Now I'm starting Term 8 in Prop Design, Marc actually provide more knowledge to apply composition to the design, made me felt "I should have start Term 8 sooner". But deep down I know experience is what important toward the journey. Anyway, below is some of my design related to 'Personal Project'.
World Settings:
This might counter what I learn, I write the world settings and let ChatGPT touchup the word to much more archaic form for fast change (just the World Settings and Summary, other are write by myself, not that anyone will read anyway).
Character Design:
During the period from my previous post, I redesign again 2 side character and protagonist. While drawing, I try to blend some artstyle hoping to hit the 'hook'. Not so glamourous but here it is. One thing I notice when drawing character, draw the character looking above space, it will hook quite well. (You can see the horse like line art did not finish, thats when I broke my cable huhu)
Illustration:
I want to paint a definitive illustration to describe what the world experiencing, so I paint a lot only to discard the paint. At the end I say screw it, and pick one that show 'actor and actress' and background so it show what cataclysmic they are facing.
Conclusion:
I should start Term 8 sooner because Marc actually address what should be looking at to design. Although I felt exhaust and disappointed of my result, but deep down I understand it's the process and experience that we are accumulating so we can prove our result.
