I'd go with scales personally, showing its reptile side

@snakker Thank you for the information. I might put the scales on the inside.

IMO either pick scales or fur cus i personally don't see how it would mash cus otherwise some parts of it would have no scales and all fur and other parts vice versa... well I suppose it could work with both..

@mitsuki-youko The boa fur sounds like an interesting idea. I think I can find some reference on both.

Here's a 20-minute figure drawing. I also used it as an opportunity to practice inking for Inktober.

With Inktober on the way, I thought I'd make some thumbnail sketches. I combined it with another prompt called Arttrober 2023
So far I have:
Day 1: Day 1: Suletta Mercury | Dream
Day 2: Shive (FF XVI) | Spider
Day 3: Harley Quinn | Path
Day 4 Vash | Dodge
Day 5: Link | Map, Etc.
So far 1 picture has been inked

Arttrober day 1: Suletta Mercury from Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury. Day 1 of Inktober, Dream. She's at her dream wedding.

Arttrober Day 2 is Shiva from Final Fantasy 16. Inktober Day 2 is Spider. Here's Shiva wearing a dress made of spider silk.

Day 4 of Arttrober is Harley Quinn, and Inktober day 4 is Path. Here is Harley Quinn from the Suicide Squad Isekai asking you to choose a path, Chaos or Madness. I made sure do do some shading on the clothing folds.

Arttrober Day 4 is Vash The Stampede from Trigun. Day 4 of Inktober is Dodge. Dodge was a tricky prompt. I did some searching and I found a Dodge car. I drew the original Vash. So here is Vash the Stampede sitting on a Dodge Challenger eating a riceball.

Arttrober Day 5 is Link. Inktober Day 5 is Map.
Here is Link from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom looking at a map to a new temple. I did a quick background and did some shading on one part of the clothes.

Day 6 of Arttrober is Gwen Stacy from Spiderverse. Day 6 of Inktober is Golden. Here is Gwen Stacy with a gold necklace, gold chains, and bangles. If that's not enough, I put gold bars in the background. Maybe I should write "Golden Week" on her shirt.

Inktober day 7: Drip. Arttrober Day 7: Nezuko (Demon) from Demon Slayer. Here is Nezuko in her demon form in the rain. The patterns on her kimono were a challenge.

Arrtrober Day 8 is Cammy from Street Fighter 6 and Day 8 of Inktober is Toad.
Here's Cammy wearing a toad onesie. I could have drawn a shirt with a toad on it, but I like this idea.

Arttrober Day 9 is Savage Land Rouge. Inktober Day 9 is Bounce. Here she is in mid-jump. I may have to redo this one.
Currently, I'm on day 16 of Inktober. But I still getting around to posting them here.

Day 10 of Arttrober: Saber from Fate Grand Order. And Inktober is fortune. Here's Saber in a throne room full of gold.
