I remember that in the original concept art, Ayna was supposed to be older and Loyd's friend Franky was supposed to be her adopted brother. But Franky was aged up and Anya was made younger.

This is what I have so far turning them into warriors. Based on the gameplay, They can use weapons lying around. here's my sketch for the character Mono. After I shaded them, I smudged the pencils. I'm thinking of giving him a square-like sword.

Here's my idea of Six as a warrior based on her outfit from Little Nightmares.

I tried painting Brother Voodoo, but I kept getting a pop-up saying the scratch disks were full. I copied it on a new file and painted the character grayscale shading in a single layer. Here's what I have so far.

I used gradient maps to color the grayscale. I want to get the colors right before I work on the background. I may need to re-color the skin.

I have a rough idea of the background. I'm thinking of adding skulls on top of stones. I also wanted to add a magic light from him.

I've been learning Blender. I've started by making a donut. his was from a few months ago. It's pretty challenging.

Your character design is way cool! I could be way off but I'm guess he's a necromancer? Love the golden accents in his cape and necklace. Also, that's a very impressive donut! I've tried doing 3d art before and it's so difficult! Nice work!

Thanks @alix28. He's not my character. He's a Marvel hero named Brother Voodoo. I wanted to make a fan art of him. I'd like to read the comics eventually.

That's okay @alix28 and thank you. I heard about this character twice. Once from reading a book about black superheroes and another time from watching a review of Dr. Strange on YouTube.

I started making this in November and I finished this in March. It was a pretty big challenge. While I was working on this there was another updated tutorial, so I may try that one if I need to. I can't post the animation here though. Has anyone else tried this before?

If its a small animation i make it a gif and post it here. Gifs work.

Otherwise i post it on my youtube as unlisted and paste the link here. (unlisted means it wont show up on your youtube channel and ppl cant find it without a link but you can still share the video)

Thank you @mitsuki-youko. it took a long time to understand and follow along with the tutorials and render the results. I wanted to make this as good as I could before posting it.

I see. I'm not sure if Blender can render images into gifs. I'll have to check. I guess I can upload it.

I have the background done so far. I wasn't sure about the colors, but I think It might work. Looking at it now, I may need to work on the picture a little more.

Blender can render images into gifs

hmm i thought u had an animation or something, you can probs render that as a gif if not a video that you use a converter to convert to a gif..

@mitsuki-youko I do, I must've misspoken. But that does give me an idea I can look into. Thank you.
I wanted to do a combination of the main character from The Coffin of Andy and Leyley game with the vampire twins Hansel and Gretel from black Lagoon. That did not work too well, so I just sketched the vampire twins instead.

I started going back to the weekly assignments. I stopped around week 3 one of them was from week 3 of Term 1:
Study (copy) 5 characters from professional artists/shows/games you like
I did a study of Junji Ito's work just focusing on the line art. I may have to work on the line art again.

This is the reference. It's a cover of his art book Twisted Visions. If this is a character from one of his series, I'd like to know.
