A bit more portraits (The first one is from imagination). Nothing perfect or outstanding of course, but it's nice to see I'm not as clueless as I was one or two months ago.

I'm still not ready to move on, there's still a lot I want to do, like a self portrait or more full body drawings. and in terms of volumes and shapes, I wanna see if I can start doing some more complex boxes and cylinders. maybe I could design some cool things with simple forms as a challege before this month ends. we'll see...for now I feel like I need a break, physically and mentally...Keep an eye open for more stuff.

Lovely work! I always like your face anatomy studies. Definitely keep at it if you feel like you have more to do and more room to progress

Good job on those faces! no glaring mistakes that break anything, everything is solid
Also, never hurts to remind art is a damn long and tiring endeavor so recognizing you need a break is nice!

Honestly! trying to get good fast is never good for you! Patience is key here, and taking breaks is necessary.

Welcome to the forums inkpendude! Lovely work! I was just looking through your gallery and your practice really shows! One thing that may be helpful with these face traces and face structures is to really highlight the zygomatic bones on the cheeck, I feel like it is one of the most defining and important structures on the face and it may be worth defining it when you do these plane traces! Lovely work cant wait to see more!

Complex box of the day + getting comfortable with shading things with brushes. I mostly do that last thing as an excercice an not as a serious drawing or anythign like that.

Also, A couple of sketches for fan art. I'm not sure if these are gonna become full drawings yet, but I'm sharing the sketches and my process just in case.

I'm also gonna try to do this in pixel art too. I will share some of the progress of that too.

^ this sun is so cute!!!! that whole shape practice thing has such a warm chill vibe to it!

hmm that happens sometimes but keep practicing and you will see the results eventually
it helps to look back at stuff you drew years ago and compare progress

Keep it up, like what @mitsuki-youko said, sometimes you need to go back to the first time you tried to draw a face for example, and compare it to what you can do today

Artwork done this weekend, Fan art based on the upcoming new song "GILA MONSTER" by King gizzard and the lizard wizard. There are still things that could have been done better, but I really like the final result.

I applied some basic shading and structure to draw the lizard and the rocks. I also tried drawing some texture, I'm not the best at it yet, but the rocks really look like..rocks, so thats a win.

And of course, Can't put pixel art aside, So I made a different version with this style too (just the colors really)

After the "lineart", I usually try to make a color sketch, something quick just to get an idea of how it could look, see if it works or not, experiment, etc.

Final result looks pretty metal too

that's all for now! I still got one more drawing I want to make, more fan art, but this time a little more ambitious. But that's gonna have to wait till next weekend. Now back to drawing ugly faces and heads.
