I'm sharing this sketch because I'm trying a new aproach when sketching heads, so we'll see how much I can progres in a few weeks more. also I think that right eye was pretty close

Never give up with the many trials and errors (which I'm sure we all face and experience) you'll get there! and each time you try you're better than the previous attempt, even if sometimes you don't see or feel it. Keep up the good work!

I'm continuating my journey after having to distance myself a little from practice. I feel like I forgot everything and went back to the start. Maybe I just need to warm up

My journey of learning to draw portraits has been hard and slow, I feel like I'm slower than other people. I'm too stupid to give up

Thank you!! yeah I tend to lose hope pretty quick and start going insane when I don't see progress. I also think is because I overthink too much when drawing and it ends up looking bad. I think I'm gonna practice a bit more this month, and then move on to the next term. I already know the basics anyways. I also need to focus more on anatomy instead of obsessing over trying to draw the perfect portrait

It is a very good job; the study is very accurate with the original. The only thing I see that could improve is to include the nostrils, which are visible even at the angle of the head.

Also a couple of basic anatomy structure from today. I haven't done this in a while, but I'm gonna focus on these + the portrait studies, and then I think it's time for me to move on to term 3. But before that, I obviously have to make a drawing using this basic anatomy, I'll figure something out. So much I wanna do...

Same for me lol. Kinda forgot how to deconstruct figure into basic shapes lmao.

Drawing looks pretty great so far. For the top 2 drawings, I noticed that the shoulder is too neutral to not aid the character expression. The left one looks like she lowering her shoulder to show a sulky expression while the right one looks like she raising her shoulder to do her action. Just an observation

I forgot to post this studies from yesterday. I really like drawing skulls so i've been trying to learn more so I can do some cool skulls for inktober. The jaw is pretty tricky to draw from imagination when it's open.

I think I found a decent formula to learn the shape and understand how to draw it when it goes down

I also spent some good amount of time watching marc's videos on pespective and did some exercices (shapes in perspective mostly, Nothing complicated) and all I need to do now is one of the assigments, drawing my room in 2p perspective. My back is killing me, so I will finish it another day, but here's the sketch.

Yeah I definitely do not have a big tv or a bunch of swords in my room, but a guy can dream.

This turned out pretty cool! I had to trace the photo to get the structure, but everything else was done by hand. I also tried a new brush just to make the flat color a bit more interesting

I'm glad you guys like my studies and sketches and all that! it definitely helps me to stay motivated.

Room sketch v2 || This is taking longer that I thought it would. the dificult part is drawing various objects in perspective, and also trying to be creative about it. BUT..in terms of perspective, I have learned a lot so far. Not sure how this is gonna end up looking, but its already a succesful assignment I think.
