Hello Cubebrush community,
I am Ibrahim Lancoln and I used to be an Game Environment Artist and on my way to find my independence I became more and more of an entrepreneur which led me now to develop my project Nomad Photo Reference.
I get more and more involved in the Cubebrush Community because I see a part of myself in Marc Brunet, he inspires me a lot as a free artist who created his own business.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge about game art and my experience about being an artist/entrepreneur. Even if I don't practice game art anymore I still sharpen my art skills with Photography and stay in touch with what's happening in the industry. I still have the dream to create my own game studio to create Adventure/exploration games
To finish my introduction, let me tell you about what is Nomad Photo Reference.
I am creating a blog where I sell my Photo Reference Packs with the help of Cubebrush. These products are mainly for Game and Movie artists but every artists can use them of course. You can find many locations, themes, texture packs and even PNG-Cutouts. I want to be close to the digital art community so I work hard to create these packs to fit your creativity and a user friendly service.
To spice things up, I set myself a challenge to create 100 Photo Reference Packs by the end of 2018 and when I am writing this post I have released 72 packs. Stick with me and feel free to write me your suggestions about what you would like me to reference.
I see in Cubebrush an inspiration and a friendly competition with I hope a good long relationship and even partnership who knows ?!
By the way, I wrote a guest article on the Cubebrush Blog about my seller experience here and I give a few tips for other sellers too. I wrote it when I was halfway to the completion of my challenge and once I will reach the 100th I will write the second part of the article to see how my project evolved and what I plan to do next.
See you soon on the forum and on Nomad Photo Reference !
