Since taking a month off of drawing due to my apple pencil betraying me, I felt rusty so I tried out Marc's 30 day challenge, decided to do it in a couple of hours then I realised towards the end it got more difficult for me with perspective but i survived it. so yay me.

Some environment silhouettes that the characters I have created will be residing in. Only did a few today before starting Marc's challenge. Will come up with about 10-20 of these then pick the ones that work best to further develop them.

Overall description: Trying something different. Creating fantasy characters inspired from watching Avatar way of the water. Brief background of the characters: They will reside in a place inspired by Pantanal (one of the largest wetlands in Brazil) I look at 4 animals that live within wetlands and created characters based off them.

Character Description: Sweet, Empathetic, Caring.This character radiates kind energy. The type that would help a random person in danger that wandered into their land. They are full of curiosity.
Character Name: Onda

Still early in the design process but need to know which character(s) from this lineup are more pleasing to look at and I will develop a family of these creatures.

Let me know which character you think fits the description, they are in random attire just as I wanted to present them clothed.

These designs look really nice, my choice is the 1st one she has more rounded/soft shapes compared to the others and large round eyes which make her appear both friendly and approachable to me

Quick sketches of male characters. I thought it would be nice to see if different species are picked therefore when creating the family the children will have unique features.

Char description: Noble, forgiving and assertive. This character is determined yet understanding of those who do not share the same passions and traditions as him. Considerate yet has a slightly cold exterior which makes first impressions difficult. Agile character.

Before I forget to upload these, since im just so happy i can begin to work on something different characters haha

Creating good designs is so important but im glad i am finally understanding how to organise my work so it looks cohesive

The goal for 2023 is gain confidence in illustrations/environment concepts
