Coming along great man! One small thing stands out for me, I'd check the lenght of the forearm vs the disance between the shoulder and the elbow, seems a bit too short

More progress!

@marc Thanks man! Now that you mention it, the forearms do seem a bit short, I'll stretch them a little bit, or maybe lift the elbows

Awesome job on the character  i agree on the fact that arms are a bit off, one way to look at a arm if your having trouble is try using the "big medium small method", Which would create a rhythm within the arm, heres a quick doodle to show you what i mean if you don't mind

If that does work with you the look at a human anatomy reference, hope this helps

@Fris Thanks! Yeah, it is helpful, I need to remember that technique

Did some quick renderings in keyshot:

I fixed the arms and did some detail work. I think she's pretty much ready for polypaint!

Alright, I think I'm done, here's the final keyshot render:

I made some adjustments to the actual sculpt since my last update, but mostly it's just polypaint. Here's some really quick zbrush renders too:

This project can now be found on artstation

On to the next project!

Starting a new character, based on this concept. I'll probably make this a game model that could be animated too.

This is what my progress looks like a couple hours in. Tried some new techniques that I learned from Hazardousarts' stream.

Body blocked, happy with the proportions. I'll start sculpting the armor next!

Sloooooooow armor progress:

The basic armor pieces are straightforward enough, but I know I'm going to have trouble with the cyborg limbs. I love a challenge though!

Today's progress on Eri, working on the symmetrical armor parts:

Sculpted some more late at night, I tweaked her proportions to match the
concept art more, because I started noticing it wasn't exactly right.
Now it looks quite acceptable I think.

Today: Eyelashes and goggles!

Status update on Eri!

25 days later

Some slow progress on this, I refined some parts, and blocked the belt. I'm quite happy with how it's coming along!

I also made her tanto sword, here's the hi-poly for that. Lattice tool in Maya is my new best friend for making hard surface parts less boring!

I'll probably work on the robo arm next, although it seems like a pretty daunting task, not quite in my comfort zone.

9 days later

Made a hand painted low poly character as a side thing, because I'm procrastinating on the robo arm  It's for a game idea I may or may not end up making. Textures need a bit more polish still, but I'm pretty happy with the result, especially since I haven't really done anything like this before.

Modeled the robo hand for Eri. I used the robo arm from MGS5 as reference, since I couldn't seem to be able to come up with a good design on my own (Not really a design guy )

Current (s)lowpoly progress on Eri with placeholder materials:
