Hi everyone! Glade CB forums are backup, I wanted to post some updates from yesterday/today so far.

Refined the tile more, hair, sleeves and other minor corrections

Restarted the turnaround from scratch as the character has changed a lot since it's initial inception. I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along. Going to take a little break and then move over to some other projects or look for some new tuts.

I'm back!

I had a great time with family celebrating my Dad's birthday, the 4th and camping. The break gave me a lot of time to think about my goals and research how to get to 'the next level'. Or at least keep moving forward.

To kick off I'm finishing my elf protag, girl thing!

In addition picking up with the speedpaint that I will eventually post to youtube, so stay tuned...

That elf swordswoman looks really nice. I love the rendering. And that last speedpainting is coming along really well already.

Thanks cedricgo! The swordswoman was definitely trying at times to complete, but I'm very happy with how itturned out. I'm going to break now, but will post some updates in the evening for the speedpaint and some other stuff.

The General has aged a bit! Something about white hair old dudes has been cool since Arthas. This was started before I got from vacation, so I will finish it, but man, why didn't i do color roughs before? I'm massaging this guys skin tone, and hair into the proper palette because of a lack of planning ahaha.

But one of my goals is to post a speedpaint, so full steam ahead.

I want to apply for miniature and figurine work, so I'm making more dynamic poses, with the goal being of turnarounds of said characters as well.

Posting my update early and then going to be hanging out with my friend. He is going to relocate to Colorado for his first fulltime art gig, which has got me motivated!

First thing was to tackle the palette and design issues

And this is where I got to today. Feel happy with the progress I have been able to make! Speed recording is going well, encroaching on a gig of footage.

Hi Everyone! I will be out till Aug 1st for a family reunion so I wont be posting at all. I do have an update though, yesterday I worked to get a very basic render done and I did it. For some reason I always had huge anxiety around Maya but now im over it.

I'm looking forward to continuing my environment work once I get back. Have a good one guys!
