And my drawing of a room from 1 point perspective I have worked on over the last few days. I decided that while I could have spent even more time adding minute details (I think I added too many for what is supposed to be a basic exercise lol) that I should accept I have done enough for the exercise and move on to other and further practice to especially more of the fundamentals. I definitely learned just how lost in the weeds you can get in drawing environments. (I also did my best for getting the shadows and lighting correct but that is definitely something I have a long way to go on)

Thank you! It was going to be a wizards workshop/bedroom but I kinda ran out of steam when working on the small details. It has definitely given me a huge amount of respect for environment artists.

My first attempt at the color and balance matching assignment and I can definitely tell already that this side of things is a weakness, my eyes are not happy with me for staring so hard at the colors to try to match them. But I will persevere! Also holy crud that last image is tough to figure out. I must have played with it for a solid half hour and I still don't feel like I was very close.

Dream castle assignment, I can see a lot of places I don't have the skill to make look quite right yet, but I think for a first attempt it turned out okay.

Also the apples assignment. I can definitely say that the more I work on photo manipulation the less I enjoy it, it's kinda tedious. I definitely prefer the drawing side of things lol. But you can't love every part of your work and it will be a valuable skill to have I'm sure.

And my young to old and liquify assignments. I enjoyed the liquify the most of all of the photoshop assignments so far. I can definitely say I don't foresee myself being a professional photo editor in the future lol.

I may be getting ahead of myself but I decided to start working on anatomy 1 because I want to learn to construct and draw faces so that I stop drawing weird blobby faceless mannequins. These are some of my first efforts on heads and some of the individual features. Still very rough but I will keep grinding at it until I can do them well. (The last one of the noses was mostly to practice the basic form before getting into the finer details)

I decided to try drawing one of the legendary Bruce Timm's characters and I'm really happy with how she turned out. ^^

Realized I haven't posted in 2 weeks (time flies I swear) still working on art but most of it has been in a sketchbook and not digital, Will have to find a way to get some of those pictures up on here soon.

So here are some of my drawings over the past few weeks, mostly trying to practice poses and getting proportions down while also working on learning faces and heads. (Fewer examples of the head/face anatomy work but I have been working on it and the examples are a little old)

I'm not dead! Just been continuing most of my drawing in pencil in a sketchpad. Here are two of my most recent works I will get some of my other faces uploaded sometime soon. Hopefully.

I definitely still have a long way to go, but I can't deny that I have made progress so I am overjoyed.

Well I'm not doing great at updating here consistently. I am still working on the program and have a pic I drew today that I am pretty happy with.

I drew my D&D character I played in a friend's one shot and I'm happy with how she turned out, though I can see several places that could use some work.

Spent quite a while working on this first work in 3 point perspective. There is a lot of room for improvement, but I think my horror themed cathedral is pretty good for the season.

Tonights gesture drawing. I have been slacking a bit on it while focusing on my other studies but I am happy to see that as one skill improves so to do the rest.
