To make things worse I'm also still trying to find a job.
What's with all these places expecting at least 5 years of experience bruh.
But I'll take it as it comes and whatever happens, happens

Its so bad since I technically have the whole day to myself, I still end up not getting to all the things I want in a day.
I really have a hard time trying to make a schedule or something to keep up with to get things done during the day and its such a pain.

I hope you manage to spend more time on your hobbies and things that make you happy man.
We're all in this together!

Ohh.. hm do you have a motivation for learning art? like do you have a personal project/ something you are working hard towards? if not and ur just doing it for fun, then i think its cool to take it at a chiller pace

I wanna be able to create my OC's and their character sheets so I can sculpt them in Blender and at the end of the day animate them for my story.
(Even though there isn't much of a story cause I'm not the best story writer, but I have a ton of albums for each OC with how I want them to look, act, etc.)

So yeah I wanna tackle sculpting in Blender too but its just as complex as any other skill lol.

Hi all! It's been a while since I last posted, but I'm back.
I'm trying to complete my Term 2 perspective drawings in the meantime, having some trouble with the castle, but I think I didn't do to bad with the body in perspective. (I did rely a lot on the symmetry tool ) Let me know your thoughts.

I know some parts aren't anatomically correct, but the body being warped threw me off a bit XD

I've also been working on costume designs for my future OCs, it's nothing special but its just to get an idea of what might fit them, looking forward to getting better at drawing concept art with this course.

Hey mate, good job on the last pieces. I like the second outcome of the portrait study you did. Unless intentional, one thing to note on the portrait is that the malar prominence (usually where our cheeks shine most) is more medial in men and more lateral in women so as you place that shine more to the side it makes the character seem more feminine

As for life, well, we’re all on the same boat one way or another. I think part of what hits people these days are unrealistic expectations from social media. One way or another you have to survive and we don’t have it too bad these days - sure there are lots of problems, but it’s a good time to be alive. Being grateful for things I enjoy, keeping things simple and focusing on those things I enjoy most helps me keep sane. Avoid clutter, chaos and negativity as much as possible and live as healthy as you can - that’s the best advice I can give you mate

Eyyy welcome back, I too have had a slight hiatus in posting but ive been working on stuff of camera so to speak

Awe yea this! posting and trying to gain an audience on IG and seeing other very successful ig artists post on a near daily basis makes me feel hella slow which is why i barely post on ig now unless I've made something really nice and fancy like an epic drawing or a music video or something.

I tend to draw more females portraits than males so I guess it's just my brain going autopilot when rendering faces, but I'll be sure to pay more attention when it comes to male faces.

On the life topic, I honestly don't know what's up or down anymore to be honest XD
I think I need to take a detox from art socials.
I know it's not a good idea to compare yourself to other people but it just happens and than you feel like your behind somehow, yet that's not even the case.

Currently I'm just trying to take it one day at a time and try to enjoy what I'm busy with in the moment. I don't want to lose my love for art because I have so much ideas in mind that I seriously need to get out there!

I've started with Term 3's classes so long, I still need to finish my castle of Term 2 so I'll do that in my spare time lol.

Looking good. One thing i notice is that the edge on the veryical folds is a softer edge in the reference, making it a hard edge looks more like a pinching

Hi all! I did a quick self-portrait of myself, I wanted it to be a bit expressive so here it is lol.

I also finished yet another clothed figure drawing, I want too do 2 more than I want to focus on finishing my castle perspective drawing.
I'm currently all over the place but I'll be sure to get them all done so I can strictly focus on the new work!
