Thanks @gregorya gld ypu like it  not sure about the pearls, I think it’s a 2-layer necklace.

Loved arcane s2, here’s a study - I need to clean up and polish a bit more, but really haven't been in the mood for painting lately.

I tried sculpting in Nomad for the first time for some variety, here’s what I managed to make following a tutorial. I think the lighting and rendering didn't turn out well at all, will need to dedicate some time to figuring out settings on GI, subsurface scattering and such.

P.s. Similar colors are coinsidental.

Oh, it's a two-layer necklace. The Arcane study looks great.
I never heard of Nomad Sculpt but the results are good. The monster looks adorable.

@gregorya it’s a sculpting app for ipad similar to zbrush. I think there is now also zbrush for ipad, from what i heard nomad is more casual

I wanted to try painting something other than people, so here’s a bird and some berries. Also tried some crystals/gems but it’s too damn hard xD Feedback is welcome.
I would like to try sculpting a human head/skull one of these days, but I’d need to follow a tutorial and I find myself always procrastinating anything involving learning instead of just doing. Hope inspiration strikes 🤓

The crystal looks pretty good, especially the lighting and the edges. I do like the bird study. I also see that one of the berries is being absorbed into the bird's stomach.

Thanks @gregorya! Do you mean to say there is another way of getting a berry in one’s stomach  (yeah it does look a bit odd)

I’m discovering the wonders of still life and how much easier it feels to paint something that is not the thing your brain most easily finds issues with (human faces). So far very satisfying
Also a marble guy I painted last week, I think he’s famous or something

It's always good to expand your comfortzone and the crystal and bird are rendered out exceptional well. You have very good edge control. I totally know what you mean on abandoning things. There's a digital image I still haven't finished in like a year.

You're welcome. One of the berries does look like it's being absorbed into the bird's stomach.
I like the hard edges, lighting, and shading of the statue of David.
I like the light and form of the avocado. And I like the color and textures of the strawberry cake.

Thanks @bluedommi and @gregorya, I really appreciate your positive feedback
For edge control, that’s something that was an issue for me earlier on, but @brohawx kindly took the time to explain the concept to me, and that in combination with doing some studies on Arcane art helped me improve a lot.

@gregorya about the berry, I got what you meant, I was trying to make the joke that the only way to get a berry in your belly is to absorb it, like my bird is accidentally doing XD but the joke didn’t come through :frowning:

Here’s a still life I did this week, wanted to paint some folds.
Other than that, I was gifted a ukulele this Christmas, so now I’m learning to play and engulfing my other passion, music

Oh, okay. I should've known with the emojis. I'll remember it next time.
I like the still life. I like how you separate the jar from the background and the cloth folds.

You're welcome! I'm in-between watching Arcane and the animation is so kinetic and Yes the edges are supa clean. That's great advice.
