If you want to improve faster i would suggest you to start doing studies. It can be anything like figure drawing, anatomy studies, portraits, still lives, master copies, understanding how light and color works etc. Focusing on fundementals and applying them in your own paintings is i think the best way to go imo. To not get overloaded with all the stuff you can also try to analyse your last work, figure out what bothers you the most, study that for a bit and do another imagination work. Anyway best of luck!
