Perspective 1 assignment 1 - Finding convergence lines

I am not a massive fan of this exercise as it feels like a waste of time but I did it anyway. If anyone could explain to me why the convergence lines dont always line up precisely that would help a lot. Is it because the structures I am drawing lines on have slightly different rotations?

Nude Figure Drawing assignment 7: Full figure using measuring tools

The first time I did this I spent very little time on it as I find the process of measuring stuff out very tedious and it takes me out of a "flow state" or takes the joy out of it for me - not sure how to explain it. Anyway, I think I can see a clear improvement through these five drawings below which is nice. However, I am still terrible at measuring as when I block something out i think I have nailed it and then when I overlay it on the original image I could not be father off, guess that is something that just improves with time?

I took a bit of time out to study some videos by Sinix Design on youtube as the for the next assignment "Study (copy) characters from professional artists/shows/games" i wanted to do 5 studies of real people and realised I had no idea how to draw hair.

So I watched the video from Proko or Stephen Bauman on how they do their block ins, which was suggested to me by @snakker . This helped me a lot but I think but I still struggle to capture peoples likeness properly, looking forward to improving at this though.

So I am not sure if I picked references which were too detailed here but I found this very tedious. On the latter two I definitely gave up and just skipped a lot of details. I think trying to copy each part of the reference very precisely was quite dull. I could tell in my second study here that the lines on the roof were all in the wrong direction but I just wanted to be finished when I was doing it so I didn't care. On a more positive not I think these turned out alright overall though.
