Fennec and Haru

Haru is like older brother to Fenn. Looks after him, is overprotective after one incident, helps with combat skills and other things. Being good big brother. Fennec, he's just innocent kid, brings smile and positive energy everywhere. It can be tiring sometimes... fluffy fox walking around constantly smiling...

Still working on their story but that's basically it

At first I wanted to go with old watercolor manga kind of look but as usually after a while I go my way. I didn't care about the hand at all but it looks so much better than when I sketch the whole build for it. I just painted it and it looks nice

I am very into that soft lovely vibe right now

Some more hugs and my characters being adorable. I am getting used to drawing interactions

Very nice and cute piece! The colors and mood gives it that feeling of "the good old days", like it's a nice memory.

Nice sketches too. Many artists struggle with such interactions, but it seems you have it nailed down pretty well.

Haha i just go thru the alphabet if i dont immediately have one and go this guy/girl looks like a... a-name, b-name?, c-name? If i have lots of characters with M names n im like ok this one cant be a M name but if i rly like that M name ill be like what can i replace the M with and still make it sound good XD

I made an attempt at inking. And I love it! It was the first time in a long time when I enjoyed making lineart. Was a bit lazy with clothes but I am happy with it

After inking this I got energy to go back to that short comic. I am almost done with the first page. I am starting to like making lineart. I may cry a lot while drawing folds but it is relaxing

Page one is done! I need to call it done because I already spent too much time on it. And at this stage is better to do more pages than worry about every single thing

I think I spent most time figuring out frames and gutters

I may not be satisfied in terms of composition. But I do love how Eve looks on the first panel. She is more like Vincent now. And I can draw expressions despite all the talking that I can't

That door is going to hunt me till the end of time. I tried different things there but I will just move on. I don't want to spent eternity on that one small frame

Haha, yea, framing is a big challange. It always is, but gutters here look fine. Not sure if you saw this somewhere, but vertical gutters are usually thinner as they indicate the reader where to go. Thinner gutters > move this way.

The only caveat I had was the smaller text that reads "huh?" or "I hope it's just princess" is a bit too small to read on mobile, other wise lettering was easy to read.

I like the watercolor style and lighting of the characters Fennec and Haru. It looks so happy and cheerful.

I attempted inking. And I love it! It was the first time in a long time that I enjoyed making line art.

I like your inks of Rai and Cal.
The comic looks good so far.

I tried using CSP companion mode on phone so I could immediately see how pages would look like on it. Pretty useful

One thing I know for sure is that the next comic will be in color

For some unknown to me reason transition panel has sparkles
Maybe will change the vertical lines on the irritated one

I also have part of 3rd page. My brain turned off and don't know how to continue. Will just go for the next page and finish this one later

Back muscles came out pretty nice but there is something off about his right arm

Needed a break from inking so made a portrait

I can finally say that I love my portraits. There were many things that kept bothering me with each one but now they are gone. Well, except for some minor things. It looks much better than few months back and its much easier to do

The sparkles look interesting. It's like she's expecting something wonderful, only to be disappointed.
For the third page, is that a fogged mirror in the background?
Irvine looks pretty good. I think you need to make his hat bigger. It looks too small on his head. At least according to the reference.

OOoooh! these look great! It already reads, flows and looks really good. Your skills in drawing are really shining through.

Irvine also looks great, especially his facial features and hair, though I agree with @gregorya that the left part looks a bit smallish.

As for the arm, I tried to do a few adjustments using liquify and slight editing based on a reference:

It all still looks really good and very proffesional even as your first few pages. Really great work.

Yes, I am too lazy to draw reflections

I fixed the hat I think. I used this one as ref and angle is slightly different here but it was still a bit small

I did another portrait. It's funny to put these two together

I've been drawing so much pretty boys and soft stuff lately that I needed to paint something more rough. Varian came to my mind

My usual faces aren't very detailed and are soft. I did struggle a bit with some features but I think it looks nice. His ponytail gave me a headache and I merged layers too soon. I couldn't make it work later so it is what it is.

The biggest pain was covering lions with effects... They came out so nice
