19/11/22 - Back on track with finishing TERM 1 !

Hello! Haven't been around Forums for a couple months. However, I still kept drawing almost daily. Thus, I got lots of new things to show you!

First things first, I started progressing more consistently on the course itself. And recently, I finished all assignments in Term 1 !

What got left were only the perspective exercises, which you can see below.

I really loved making the one point perspective room! I created a fantasy dorm theme based on ArtSchool. It was quite fun!

19/11/22 - Term 2 - Photoshop for Digital Production 2 Assignments

I went through and finished all the exercises for this specific part of term 2!

Couldn't find any fancy idea for the logo - letters one, so I went with something simple inspired a bit by fantasy genre games. The name is based on some personal world building ideas. Who knows, maybe this could be the name of my term 7 project too

A little vector frog wizard! Had lots of fun with it! It's done in shapes, so when I resize, it doesn't lose any detail.

And again, based on the Beyondstride name, I made a worn artbook cover. Wish I had actually as cohesive and many works to properly make one For the box exercise, the artworks shown are personal artworks I did a few weeks ago. Ill post these soon in the forums!

When I do exercises, I try to have a lot of fun so I can enjoy the whole learning and studying thing without it feeling like a labor. I really recommend to everyone to give a creative twist to them. Nevertheless, thanks a ton @prinzmoana !

23/11/2022 - The Crackhead Bot

Very often since some time now, I've started to spice up my exercises with a bit of creativity. I always support making learning and studying more fun, since this is the most effective way to absorb knowledge and avoid feeling like doing chores. At times though, my imagination can go completely nuts.

Thus, meet the Crackhead Bot ! Basically, it's a gun-bot with human hands, feet and butt, feeds on 5.56 ammo and has a bipod, a flash light and a suppressor on it's barrel. Most importantly, after shooting, it literally shits out the shells from it's ass.

I drew this fever dream idea for the volumes deformation exercise in anatomy 1 of Term 2. More fun thingies to come along the terms.

And most importantly, there will be a huge overhaul of the Crackhead Bot in Term 6's mech design.

24/11/22 - Head mannequins for term 2 assignment & gesture warmup.

Tried to go with some more extreme angles so I can get a bit more familiar. I'll be heading to drawing head features by tomorrow! (25th)

Ohhhh, those heads man.. Those lines are so clean 0_o Really well done. I hope one day to have the ability to make lines that clean
Not much else I can say.

Oh, the one with the head looking down, I think I can look down like that pulling my head upwards, but I think the actual head would be a bit lower, chin reaching the chest and the neck would bend in that same direction (I've got a thing with necks as I feel they are very hard to connect between heads and torsos so I've been studying me some necks :P. )

Ohhh yes I get what u say. I indeed did place the head a bit higher, since from the lines that run down the cross contours, I indicate the sternocleidomastoid to end lower. This happened because I did not think of the construction below, silly me. And the neck needs to be bent a bit if the head tilts that much downwards as well, else I could have that neck, but the face looking a bit more up. Thanks a ton for your valuable input!
