My name is Robert, but you will see "Sazanami" as my screen name for just about any online account. Finally decided to jump into this course after following Marc's youtube series advice for a solid year or so. I am a pretty seasoned (though not professional) artist, though definitely have room to grow and could absolutely use new perspective and critique to help spur that on. However, i am VERY new to forums and online social posting in general so I apologize to anyone in advance if I manage to do anything dumb along the way to figuring out how to make it work. I am also pretty friendly but have a habit of lurking when it comes to comments and posts, so feel free to call me out on it should you ever ask a question or make a suggestion and i don't address it directly as i will try to get myself to do more.
Haven't jumped into any classes or assignments quite yet, but i plan to do so throughout the week to get a jump start on it all and will likely jump all around through the terms to find a good starting point for my skill level and still review/practice some of the fundamentals.
Also wanted to add a painting that is currently in progress (getting close but not done. Working on the lighting over all) as a good idea of where I am starting from and where my skill level is for any content I am starting.
Over all, thanks for taking the time to read this and please let me know any suggestions or if I already missed/messed something up 😂
