Hi Everyone!

So I just started the ART SCHOOL course. I'm so excited to get into this. I'm hoping to feel more confident in drawing arts. without feeling the need to trace everything. I will be posting all my art and this journey on Instagram @mellowofsakura.

Just recently started pursuing a career as a illustration artist. I tried Fiverr but I realised i'm always stuck on the base of illustration; such as anatomy, shapes and color/lighting. I've graduated from design school / Crossmedia July 2020. Any advice to help me make better art is encouraged!

Hi Rumi! Welcome to the ARTSCHOOL forums! Can't wait to see your works and hope to see you improve lots and lots along side everyone here!

Welcome! I am new as well and look forward to seeing your progress! Lets get em.

Hi everyone!

So I started the Photoshop class.
With the first sheet i'm having some trouble with the pen pressure practice task. I don't really get it ..??? Im having some trouble with photoshop for a while, because it seems to be working differently than how people show ir to me and im not sure how to fix it ..

Can someone help me with this?

I'm not very familiar with tablets as I have only had one. Have you attempted to do this with traditional media? Maybe a crayon, pencil or paintbrush? I'm not sure what would be similar for traditional. If you can do it with traditional medium it may be your tablet. If not you probably just need more dexterity practice. Check your pressure sensitivity on your tablet setup. I have heard Marc say several times he does not recommend changing off the default settings. Check these settings and try again. If you are still having problems I can do a demo with screen share on discord. DM me if this doesn't work and you want to try to figure it out together.
