SpamHands - Art School Training Arc

Salutations! I go by SpamHands on the internet. I definitely have drawn when I was a child, but I wanted to get a lot better because I saw what my sister can do. So, I have been self taught and have believed in skill over talent, ever since 2016, jumping from online tutorial to another. Like with any weeb artist, I drew a lot of anime girls.

It was also thanks to my sister that I first saw Marc's "Learn in 1 Year" video which has helped me get through stagnation I had in 2020 to 2022.

One of the biggest lessons I learned from those years is I need some sort of structure to be actionable and learn how to draw, instead of sitting around and twiddling my thumbs. This is also why I bought this course. Here's to art level ups!

I'm glad to see another weeb too. I didn't put this in the starting post, but specific anime series I like are Bocchi the Rock, Fate, Ghost in the Shell, Konosuba, SPYxFAMILY, and Konosuba. I'm also a sucker for KyoAni's works, like A Silent Voice, Haruhi, and Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.
I also am a fan of video games such as Ace Combat, Yakuza, Splatoon, and Devil May Cry. Additionally, I'm a huge fan of indie games like Crypt of the Necrodancer, Into the Breach, The Messenger, Later Alligator, and To the Moon.
Consistently, I love to jump genres and see what interests me.
