Hey Aster,

These look good, i would suggest checking out Proko - how to gesture.

Its just a little bit more info on the subject to assist you. Hope it helps

Hello there!
Gestures proportion-wise look so far so good.

As for the critique part i'd like to put some emphasis on using less strokes as at the moment your lines look very "hairy". So if you planning to do another row of gestures try and get more control over your lines and use them wisely
The less time you have on each gesture - lesser strokes there should be.

Another thing that I've noticed is that few of your gestures don't really have their weight distributed properly so it looks like they are losing their balance.
To watch out for it I can refer to Marc's class about gesture drawing and Line of action.
Line of action doesn't end where the pelvis is, It can go all the way down to the feet and it can help you to determine proper weight distribution.
Hope it helps
and keep up a good work and looking forward to see more from you

Thank you for the suggestion  And yeah, I have checked out Prokos video a few days ago and realise how I have misunderstand the true intention of gesture drawing.

Thank you for the reply  I find your advice very clear and useful! I will try to improve these and also the controlof my pen to make less hairy stroke. The weight balance is a problem but I think its because I set a short time limit (1mins) and as a beginner, thats not enough time to evaluate the actual stroke.
