I took a break for a couple of days as I had a good friend visiting me but I managed to finish the combining image assignment today. Not going to lie, it took me a little while to come up with an idea that covered what we have been taught thus far and not to be direct copy of Marc's example. I hope you guys like what I have created

Include your reference page if u can so we can see your resources.

You images are sooo lovely <3  And lucky you, for you visited this stunning castle! Is in Germany correct? I agree with you about the reflections, it's just that I like that effect a lot and I tend to over do it!

haha yes I know that with the effects. And it´s good to stick with what you like. Called artistic licence, isn´t it? Yes it´s in Germany. It is indeed a lovely and magical place  Hope I can go there again sometime  keep it up!

I had some difficulty placing the cylinders on the bodies. I'm perfectly comfortable with the 3 dimensions of the body ( I mean how some body parts change in perspective) but I confused myself while placing them. I wasn't sure if I did it correctly. Maybe is just that I have never used that technique before.

I was quite surprised of how I did with these 2 drawings. Indeed on the first one I was a little shaky compared with the second one. I'm not that good in copying the shape and the proportions exactly but I honestly didn't believe that I would be able to draw a figure as I usually draw female faces.

I need to practice more with the stylus, I'm still not very comfortable using it hence the horrible lining and circles

@MarinaChP Hey Marina! Nice to see you working on those figures! Keep it up =).

As per feedback:

  1. Just keep practicing with that stylus. Drawing lines, curves, circles, boxes, cylinders etc. from freehand is a great way to warm you up and will help with your confidence drawing digital!

  2. As to your gestures id say: try to push them further. Meaning: make the pose more exaggerated, push those C and S curves! Also perhaps try to work on maybe 2 to 5 minute poses so you can wrap basic forms around those legs.

Keep it up!!

Thanks Ardeey! You are absolutely right about the gestures, is just I'm novice still with the poses and I gave it go to try to come up with gestures from imagination. I think I need to stick with some references for now. Thanks again for your feedback!
