I took a break for a couple of days as I had a good friend visiting me but I managed to finish the combining image assignment today. Not going to lie, it took me a little while to come up with an idea that covered what we have been taught thus far and not to be direct copy of Marc's example. I hope you guys like what I have created
Hi, you got some great mood here! I just visited the castle this year myself and took some milky way night shots at about 14 degree fahrenheit http://www.giuseppe-troiano.de/img/landschaft/l_31.jpg and some panos http://www.giuseppe-troiano.de/img/landschaft/l_28.jpg. So you maybe get an impression of it in a real scenery at night.
I´d suggest to lower the opacity of the reflection to enhance readability. You got a great seamless blend too
I had some difficulty placing the cylinders on the bodies. I'm perfectly comfortable with the 3 dimensions of the body ( I mean how some body parts change in perspective) but I confused myself while placing them. I wasn't sure if I did it correctly. Maybe is just that I have never used that technique before.
@MarinaChP Hey Marina! Nice to see you working on those figures! Keep it up =).
As per feedback:
Just keep practicing with that stylus. Drawing lines, curves, circles, boxes, cylinders etc. from freehand is a great way to warm you up and will help with your confidence drawing digital!
As to your gestures id say: try to push them further. Meaning: make the pose more exaggerated, push those C and S curves! Also perhaps try to work on maybe 2 to 5 minute poses so you can wrap basic forms around those legs.
Keep it up!!
