That castle is pretty cool! looks solid, also you regularize very good the overall colors, specially the desert cliff, amazing!!!

Thanks, yesterday after looking other people's assignment I thought mine was way worse, but reading this and looking again after a day it I see I was being too hard on myself...

Lets see if I can manage do do these gesture drawings every day, I will not post every day though, maybe every month, this way the progress will (hopefully) appear more visible heh :smile:

Should I make tracing basic shapes too? I see a couple other people are doing...
I guess it doesn't hurt to do...

Thanks! I used the morph tool a lot to make the alien features overlap the human features as close as I could hehe

Keep at it Rod! Its all about repetition!

Are you still doing the gestures? Would love to see the progress after 2 weeks, its always a fun one to look at from people.
And regarding the basic shapes question from ... heh march 26 kinda old question sorry, I think the goal is primarily to catch the movement of the image first and then you just develop it some more if you have the time to work with still.

Oh yeah, I actually asked because I didn't notice there was an assignment document, I was just doing the ones marc adressed in the videos, after viewing all of them I checked the assignments lol

Nah, I did 1 every day for a week, then lowered the frequency until I stopped, I've been focusing my efforts in Term 2 and procrastinating mostly.
