Hey i'm new on this site and started digital painting the last month ! I'm looking for advices and improvements so don't feel reticent to comment my creations !
Here is my first colorisation of an older vampire drawing.
Meaning of this creation :
It is the crown beared by any ruler of Khum and it's design is a reminder of who initiated their glory, the holy Khômlloan. Chosen by the almighty Dairishy and builder of the solar stairs, he suffered solitude and torment to then be saved by a god, to be welcomed by light and finally discover the sun and it's beneficence.
But when Khômlloan tried to share this beneficence to his people, they, blinded by war and savagery, betrayed him : torturing his body and mutilating his face till death. Yet it was his brother, Ellias, who followed his path, and made a war for conversion and vengeance. He wiped-out the traitors and built a new society established with the name he used to call his dead counterpart, "Khum".
At last they forged a heavy, three peaked crown, made to glorify a burden. The burden of Ellias himself, the burden of a man drowned in blood who cured his pain by killing and who then faced shame. He also ordered to tie chains to the crown, and after this demand disapeared for several months, leaving his clan in a cold and dark whisper.
"These chains will be hiding my guilt, as did the wounds hid my brother's face."

Bronze Penalty
Death Penalty in a land called Nerym. The victims are locked up in a bronze sarcophagus and carried into the desert where they are left for dead. The alternative punishment is to slowly insert daggers from the feet to end up in the head.
