Haha no one's gonna roast you here. First off your style is pretty cool, im diggin it. The first thing that sicks out to me though is that the metal plates on her arms, and shoulders don't really feel like metal, you've rendered it in a way that looks similar to her other garments. Look up some metal references, knight plate armour, youtube tutorials, google image search, the internet is your best friend.

The hands feel a bit small aswell, you gotta pump those bad boys up.

Otherwise it's a good picture, my only other suggestion is to add some colour to the shadows, like you've done under her neck, nice purple there, it makes it pop a bit more.

Hope this helps, keep it up!

No roasting here!

I changed a couple of things, but overall I think you did a nice job.

I didn't want to change your character's style or her face, as I think it was what you spent most of your time designing. So I went into a couple of other things! As @Chris_Gardula noted, you rendered your metals without a metal texture, and your character is feeling quite textureless. So I slapped on some quick textures to represent that fix. I also changed the color balance, making the background a bit colder, as well as her metal, so her warmth, and her skin would stand out.

Values were also kind of weird. I didn't change everything that was wrong with it, but I tried changing things that would make the biggest impact. What stood out the most, was her sword, being quite gray and feeling as if it was in the way. So I made it pop, and that helped the picture. Always remember going into black and white to compare your values!

Other than that, I added a slight vignette and changed her left eye (which was tilting weirdly). Hope this helped!

EDIT: Seems like the pictures have more contrast on this site. No idea of why.

wow it looks amazing now thanks!! i love the textures tho. im studying how to paint metals right now it .seems like texture changes alot in a painting just realizing this now. thanks for the critique!

We will help each other leveling up by giving constructive feedback (:

I really like the concept of this piece of yours. Strong women + weapons = awesomeness!
I'll do a paint over tonight/these days with notes on the side for you to understand my decision making. Just posting this here so I won't forget it hehe.
