Copy #3, I tried to do another Darkest Dungeon character, this time it was one called the Bone General. I don't think I did as well on this one as I did on the last. As to why, it might be the more complex shadows, and the fact that without the shadows the character overall looks off. I am not sure what I'll try and copy next but I have learned my lesson about Darkest Dungeon art now, I'm not at that level yet.

Yeah, I can see why it might be hard to do. Some parts of the original are too dark to decipher, at least for me.

Last day of week 5. Though I tried to fit them all in, I wasn't able to do 5 copies. But I was able to do:

full body measurement

The gestures, I feel I have made at least some progress with these?
And of course the character copy. This is the last one I am able to do this week as school stuff has been hounding me lately. I will catch up on the fifth during the free week.

First day of week 6. I liked the practice in turning volumes in space, and I think the gestures came out ok. I started working on one of the copies, but I think it will be difficult because of all I have to keep in mind while working.

I am sorry for this, but I am taking a day off tonight. For the past couple days my shoulder has been bugging me and I think I have a sprain. It makes it very uncomfortable to reach forward for an hour at a time with my hand on the ctrl z and other buttons. So I'm going to ice it tonight and will try and pick up the slack tomorrow. I will post my current progress on the environment copy I was working on yesterday.

Ok, so today I got done with environment copy number 1. The reference I chose was definitely above what my skill level is right now in terms of being able to copy. I was rushing slightly to try and get it done tonight so I can get the other two completed by the weekend, and my shoulder blade still hurts to reach forwards. I will choose something simpler for the next copy so that I can get it done and keep within the schedule.

Started work on the second environment copy today. This is also from a comic book, but the art style is much less heavy on minute details so I think I'll have an easier time with this one. I should be able to get it done by tomorrow.

Alright, copy number 2 is done. It went a lot smoother than the first one, I think I'll choose another panel from the same comic for the third. I honestly think this one came out pretty ok.

its been a while since my last upload, I've been a bit busy with school stuff and trying to mitigate shoulder pain. Today I got done the last character copy that I owed from 2 weeks ago, and did some gestures I thought were ok. Tomorrow I will start on a personal piece of art. Shouldn't take too long (I hope).

Alright, so in the few days I have to work on personal art this is what I have been working on. He is a character I have thought of and have wanted to draw for a long time now. I am not sure how good the face is, I can't put my finger on it but something feels off. I will post again when I make more progress on him.

Alright, tonight I got done the character I was working on, and honestly I really like the result. A friend in another server gave me some advice on how to make him look younger, which was a really big help. I don't think I am going to colour him for now, I still don't have a very good handle on colouring or shading yet.
