One Entry per person max. No texture/polycount limit, does not need to be game-ready.

🅰 Final Image

  • Dimensions: At least 2048x2048px, max JPG 10 Quality (>1mb)

  • This is THE image to display your character in all its glory. The character has to be 100% 3D, but the background can be whatever you want.

🅱 Embedded Marmoset Viewer

  • Use our Marmoset embedded viewer to show off your character or embed your Sketchfab model - this will be used for judging. The .mview for Marmoset file has a 20mb size limit.

OR

🅱 Detail Sheet

  • Dimensions: EXACTLY 2048x2048px, max JPG 10 Quality (>1mb)

  • If you are not uploading your model using the Marmoset viewer or the Sketchfab embed, include this sheet in your final submission. This should include both the front and back of your character as well as close-ups of interesting details and areas we can't see well with the Final Image alone. Squeeze everything you have into this one sheet.

Your personal details:

  • Full Name (required)

  • Email (required)

  • Website (optional)

  • @Twitter (optional)

  • @Facebook (optional)

  • @Instagram (optional)

YOU MUST COMPLETE BOTH 🅰 & 🅱 TO BE CONSIDERED

Good luck!

Don't hesitate if you have any questions!

Can I take inspiration from mythological characters

Sure, as long as it isn't a copy and you're showing your own design/creative choices. It is a character contest after all.

Do we necessarily have to show the character in T Pose for the submission B ?
or is it ok to put the character in the same dynamic pose for both submission A and B

It doesn't have to be T-Pose. It can be the same dynamic pose as your final.

I have a question. Can I use something from my store (different parts and brushes) or do I have to do it all over again?

If you made it you can use it. No problem there 👍

Can you please confirm whether the 3D character must be based on a unique personal design and not on a concept art piece or not?

Your character has to be made from you. You can not use an existing concept from someone else.

@ext3ndstudio if your character is 3D and you are entering the 3D category and need to follow the 3D guidelines

Has anyone else had trouble trying to submit the .mview file for their entry? It seems like I am only able to submit two images, my viewer doesn't show up as an option for submission.

I can see your model on my screen. Does it not show up on other browsers as well?

Hi I have the same problem as @kylegbeavers. I could upload my marmoset viewer file to the forum, but I can't select it when I try to submit it.

Oh you don't have to worry about selecting the marmoset viewer. Plus the marmoset viewer can't be selected anyway. The judges will be checking everyone forum post. If you want you can submit the Final render only or with a quick detail sheet that only shows the front and back.
