Today's my first day committing to exercises after watching some of the videos included in module 1. I think my pen exercises went well until I got to the pen pressure lines at the bottom.

Any advice on how to make those a bit smoother? I understand I'm not well practiced, but would changing the default brush qualities help me get smoother lines and opacity changes?

Later tonight or tomorrow I'm gonna tackle cylinders over reference images!

you could adjust the pen pressure in the settings for the tablet. aside from that you have to just feel out what works best for you. you could mess with the brush settings but I would recommend you stick to the basic brushes for now - it helps you get used to the most basic without getting overwhelmed with the settings of the brushes.

I like the colors in your drawing. I found the pen pressure to be a little strange myself. I think it's just something you have to develop a feel for. Your circles are on point!
