I really wanted to try and force myself to do most of the early concepting in 2d, had been using 3d for most of everything lately.
Shout out to Kienan Lafferty (KNKL) for all the tutorials for this first step stuff... helped out so much cant even start...
Heres the narrative i created for my character.
my first pass of trying out something, but didnt feel good so started over
went back and wrote out some more of who she was
iterations... its like barely changing, but finally got one i was pretty ok with
made a few things a bit more clear, didnt make everything crystal clear cuz i felt like i could figure out the details and etc in 3d, as well as drawing out what i thought the face should look like
and she loves those dumdums
a few friends had been painting on the hangouts so i took a quick crack at the too... to a lesser success haha
