As I'm from Victoria (Australia), I'm not actually eligible to win prizes... BUT I CAN STILL ENTER! (tbh I don't think I would win anyway [goddamn pessimist]. I've never finished a complete digital artwork, so this just for learning/practice. I also don't know how these forums work either, so I'll see if I figure this stuff out)

This is a VERY ROUGH idea/direction (<10 mins work). Absolutely none of the specific details are thought out yet (he's huge though). IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MOOD.
So, I want this champion to be a true champion of the battlefield; the embodiment of might. A warrior whose presence alone warps the battlefield. I mean, after all this is an 'art war' between champions, so I think it fits the bill?
In order to capture this idea, I kinda started backwards I guess, because this sketch will probably be used as the basis for composition of my final illustration. So now I gotta flesh out the details (I don't even know if this dude is going to be human, orcish, undead, reptilian or feline and stuff).
Feedback is sorta welcome (I'm terribly shy).
(please have only the lowest expectations of me. I prefer to be disappointing from the start than raise someone's expectations and betray them)
