It's my first post here, so first things first.

TEAM FANTASY

My goal is to create a witch, more like infected person by black magic than a kickass shooting spells on everything. A girl scared and damaged by her powers, full of fury in calm and peace in anguish.
Hope you will like her.
Her name is Syntia.

Right now I'm trying to find out what she would like to wear. Unfortunately, I got this feeling like she'd love to run naked around the forest, or at last with some cape. But I feel like I should push it further and try to discover they way she will be dressed.
So all the thumbnails today are pure brainstorm.

illustration progres update. Since I got the basic idea for it im trying to push further and explore new ideas in greyscale.

Before I'll move to colours and hard light, I like to establish most important shapes with ambient light in greyscale. I know its not the best way to start the illustration but its comfortable one for me.

I recommend lighting up the face. The scene feels a bit to dark at the moment. Nice work non the less. Keep it up and good luck.
