I'm currently trying to figure out his fighting style with different weapons.

D.A.X is an acronym for Draft Android X ( as the number 10 in roman numerals ). As said earlier he has a devise attached to the back of his head which is what allows him to generate the weapons shown above. They, therefor, are not real but a code made of 0 and 1 ( binary code ) and that's seen when the weapon interacts with him as it collapse a bit.
DAX himself is a very valuable weapon as he has an independent mind. He is constantly followed by agents from all around the world, which are trying to well more or less kidnap him.

Fun idea, the creating of weapons with just the line-work that has a light effect gives you a lot of working room. I can see it making for a really cool animation. And it should be really easy to work into the illustration.

I'm struggling with piking the base colors as I don't want him to be fully in black but I don't feel comfortable with lighter colors. I managed to get to those four and so now I can't choose.

Please tell me your opinion.

1! And also 2, a good backflip can be nice too.
Overall, your character deserves even more Tron-esque vibes.

Just a thought, you can simply turn the spinning hologram to the right, so that it get into the space in the middle and doesn't hide the character's legs anymore.
