Hello Cube Brush! Im here to create a character based in a world from a dead TTRPG world I made before. the character and her storyline are the new bits but I figured I should have somewhere to start before I make things

the world in question is a planet of mostly desert, big business has basically made the place that way, all the real plant life and water left is that of the oceans and the few cities that are left.
Water, while important in this world is readily available for those with enough cash. Those without the money to drink as they wish get it rationed out to them in place of a wage while they work, and as such water is incredibly important to impoverished people.
the power system is My Hero Academia inspired in that everyone essentially gets a completely random power, could win the proverbial lottery and gain access to sand powers (like the hero I'm making) or get absolutely bodied and end up with the power to manipulate wood or have the ability to wake up and fall asleep on command. as far as I've thought so far the whole being born with powers thing is very new in this society and as such those with power haven't exactly been treated the greatest, mostly ridiculed for it, being cast out into the lowest areas is the status quo currently.

the the idea for the character right now is a girl who was born into the upper caste of society and then once the higher class found out they had these massive powers they were essentially cut out from the world and sent to the lowest echelon of people because of it, and now our hero is trying to grow up fast and trying to take on the stigma against those with superpowers.

And here's all the concept work I have done in the past weeks. the design I'm personally preferring is the design in the top left and I think that's what I'm going to go with. any suggestions on which colours I should go with would be appreciated!

It's really interesting reading about your character. Always nice to see people really thinking about the background their character has!

Of the designs you've got so far I think I like the top left too, but what I'd say is that you probably want to think about how long she's been cast out of society, as her clothes might be tattered and stuff if she's been on her own for a while, that sort of thing. Also what kind of clothes would she actually have.

Good luck!

And here's the progress on the final image so far, decided to draw an action scene, decided to have the action going on outside of the city, where the heroine is fighting on a train/tram, probably a supply raid of some form against an unprepared convoy.

Nice attempts so far. You might want to try get the design more tighter with lineart first. It looks a bit flat and the anatomy needs more volume. 3 days to go, so gogogogo

Alright, here is what I think is gonna be my final entry, as I don't have the time left in order to actually work on the piece anymore. took the contrast and played with it, tightened the line work as much as I could. it was a blast to concept out a piece and a great practice for myself. good luck to all those entering. Godspeed.
