Welcome to the ArtWar.

I like that first design with the scythe, always a fun weapon choice that allows for some really neat illustrations.

What is your super power going to be for this character?

Great start here! Like the roughness and suggested detail. I have a hard time starting this way so always in awe a bit when others just do it. Looks like you already have a solid idea in mind though, since these almost all look the same with only minor differences. Try finding a way of making this thing stand out designwise from other stuff that's already been done and you're off to something amazing! All the best and good luck!

It's been quite a hectic and busy holiday season! I am still determined to complete this even if I don't meet the deadline.

Did some more design iterations!

Thank you everyone! I plan on going B for my more defined iterations. I think the rugged look of the character suits how I envisioned her.

Some more iterations based on the design that I liked.

I'm trying to think more about the purpose of the character. Since remnant means 'remainder', is the character a remainder of evil? Or some sort of vestige? Does her power lie in her existence?

I decided to go more towards a 'primal' look because it fits in with the idea that this is a remainder of something.

A primal villain, one that has roamed the earth since dawn of mankind.

awesome progress! you plan on bringing everything up a notch? some areas are still preeetty rough - if you do tho try to keep strong focal points (face, scythe)! References might help, too. All in all I really like the direction you went in and the color palette you chose.

@hellwigart I'm pretty happy with how it turned out at the minute. I agree that I would need to spend some more time on the sheet to make it 'less rough'. Granted I haven't had the most time to work on this as I'm currently working on a masters in tech art.

Fresh painterly style overall, it goes super well with your character!

Thank you  I too think it works in a way!
