Hi everyone!

Here is a bit of ideation for my Earth Elemental.

I was exploring big basic shapes (Triangle,Circle, Rectangle) with a skull as a place-holder head, when the idea came of having the rest of the fossilized body showing on the rock, and the little back story came together from that.

Critics and comments are most welcome, I'm a big boy, I can take it!

This is a realy good start, the idea of the fossilized part is wonderfull and you could play a lot with this.
I'm not sure about the way you've managed to show the bones on your third design, I've the impression you've just put them on top of a golem without a real reason.
Maybe if your golem could still use some of the bones you could come up with some really interesting things like wings, tails ?

I played a bit with wings but they make the character too aerial and steer away from the earthly theme.
I also tried extending limbs out but the size and proportions of the overall character became too dependent on those of the fossil, and read less "elemental".
So I played a bit more with the rocky shapes, the aesthetics of the fossil, and by adding more earthy materials, like crude metal ornaments, vines and dirt.

Nice concept! And you got some great shapes which make the character feel really heavy! Which one of the six do you find the most interesting? I enjoy B alot, with the cool shape on the back and the vines hanging.

Thanks a lot! I'm not sure yet, because there is always a way to develop each solution further, but so far my favorite are B, like you, and A & E I guess, although there are some nicer looking elements on the others that I should incorporate in the final design.

"T-Rocks" is a horrific name btw, mercilessly branded as "dad humor" by several people :D.

I'm also into the B ! maybe he is a bit too balance on to vertical axis ?
