Unfortunately I won't be able to submit a final entry since I am not in an eligible country.
Doing this for fun.
Anyway, here is my initial sketches.

You can always submit an entry, it just does mean that you couldn't receive the prices, but you could use another adress in an eligible country !
Anyway, great start !
I personnaly love the sea shell's one with the crab hand (really original and funny :)) but your choice is well working too

These look great! Octopi (octopuses? ) are such interesting animals, can't wait to see how she turns out!
The snail medic was actually my second choice. Maybe I will her for fun another time?
Thanks for the compliments. I actually live in a country right next to one that is eligible, but unfortunately I don't know anyone there.
Was away for a couple of days, so I could not work much on this.
Was considering turning her into an assassin, but changed it back to the original idea in the end. Still considering how her face should look like.
I also need to design some basic grunts for her to fight against. Was thinking Earth faction.

Here comes the grunts! Although not set in stone yet, I think I will go with the one I circled (mostly because it is easier to draw). 
Also, I have been working on the final layout.
Just so you know, I am not that good with scenery. Do you guys thing I should continue with the layout presented or should I just make a simple background with her giving some sort of pose, which also means that the grunts would not be necessary?
