Hi there!
My name is Dennis, and I am an artist and chemist living in the Netherlands. For my job I am a R&D product developer for artist’s paints and inks, and my free time is mostly spent drawing or looking at others’ art.
I finally bought the full program today, and I’m very excited to begin! Looking forward to interacting with the community even though I’m a bit shy. I’ll try to not let that stop me from posting and commenting

Trying the Photoshop 1 assignment (using CSP btw).
Harder than I thought actually (that's what she said)
Especially the colors/Color Balance. That last one oof. Not even close.. If anyone has any tips for that, please let me know!
Gonna come back to this one later to try again after I practiced some more

the 3rd one is quite tough. I heard Marc say once that its 3 changes and if you don't get it. Start over as its to hard to get it corrected after you have made some changes. Nice work on these assignments!

Continuing my anatomy studies, my plan is to do all of the anatomy in one long go before working on other stuff! I don’t know if that’s a good idea, but I can always come back again later, right?

Completed anatomy 3, but legs gave me too much trouble haha.
I found a book in the attic called The Art of Anatomy Drawing by Giovanni Civardi, now trying to apply Marc's classes with the info in the book (while simultaneously learning the Dutch terms for every muscle and bone, which is interesting as well )

Thank you! Yeah, somehow traditional media are easier for me while studying. I think it's because I cannot erase indefinitely, so I tend to be more deliberate with my lines.
And I like the look of a full sketchbook :3

Fully agree! Even though I'm pretty used to my pen tablet, the feel of the actual pencil on paper is still not fully matched.
