ARTWAR 2 | 2D | Alizia | wickman

Hello everyone.
Ok! I found this community a couple of weeks ago and am very excited to get a chance to be a part of it and to take part in ArtWar.
Just wanted to upload my first idea-sketch of Alizia. A Warrior Mage with healing powers who is a high ranking General in the army of Light. I will explain further what I have been thinking about her role in the war but I wanted to get into the competetion as soon as possible

OK... so the weekends give me more time to draw. This is a work in progress on the concept for Alizia. Trying out ideas. Just wanted to let you see where I am at the moment.

Thankyou @evehartman . Wanted to show some ideas I'm working on. Early version still and I have some planned changes for the armour.

Had to leave the concept for awhile. Now I would be super grateful for any thoughts anyone would like to share about the compositon. She is a Warrior Mage who is, as a general, leading her troops in battle. Thus I was thinking that she should be in the middle of the heat and war raging around her.

I think I will move forward with this composition and then we´ll see where I take it from there.. Started to work on Alizia to see some more of her before we start with going into details. Comments? Any obvious problems you see?

OK. Progress continues...
The purple alien next to my character is made by my daughter. I wount be cheating though so her art wount be in the final design

Ok... i am really messing up her face. Will have to make some serious work on it.

This has been a great experience. I have watched so many great artists and learnt so much. Sadly I wount be able to take this to the level I want to right now. The time just isn't there. Good luck everyone and I will be happy to participate in the future
Marc Brunet... you have taught me sooooooo much through your Youtube-videos and I know you have said that the brushes aren´t the most important thing.... but when I bought your brushes it really changed a lot for me as well
