After giving life to the world, the creator lived among his people, whom he made in his image. With His guidance they prospered and spread over the land and water. Through their own skills, the people became less dependent upon the Creator. Without having to see to their needs, the Creator once again turned his eyes toward the heavens.
Before he left the world for good, the Creator bestowed upon five of his followers the magic of life and death. They became the instruments of change to shape the world in the next age. Satisfied that he had done all he could, the Creator ascended into the skies.
A thousand years have passed and the descendants of the five continued to prosper, but with the passing of each generation, memories of the Creator became whispers of legend. In the winter of 1017, during the Council of the Hand, the Tek Lords rained ruin upon the lands with their sky ships and metal men.
The Hero - A young boy serving one of of the Hand, he is being groomed as a candidate to serve as the next vessel. As the sole survivor of the candidates, he stands to assume all the powers of the Creator.
Tek Lords - They travel the galaxies colonizing worlds in the name of the United Planetary Federation. Having mastered the sciences, they can traverse the galaxies and use machines to do their biddings. They do not believe in magic when technology is easier to master.
