I do wonder sometimes if It's a problem or not. In a way, it makes it harder to master anything. But I just love exploring and trying different things.

I guess that you can explore different mediums, find the one you like the most, and master that.

That's true! But I find each mediums (at least the ones I've used) have characteristics that makes them good for certain things and not as good for others. So depending on what I do or the effect I want, I kind of find it useful to use whatever I think will work best in each scenario. But I can see the advantage of focusing on just one and mastering all aspects of it too. I guess that as long as I'm able to get results I like, then it's okay no matter what approach is used.

I like the detail on the frog's heads. Does the one behind the frog in the suit have wings?

Thank you! Yes it does have wings. Hand shaped wings. Although the drawing changed a bit since I last posted.

This is amazing. I like the shading of the frogs in the alleyway, as well as the colors on the wall and the background.
That bunny looks buff and very intimidating Nice work.

So I have been gone for a while, but I finally finished the frog gang painting. I call it the Marsh Mafia! It was too big to scan so I tried to take the best picture I could and correct itvin photoshop. It's not a perfect match with the original, but it's the best I could do. Here it is!

My first few inktober/drawtober/brushtober/artober drawings. I am not following any list for this, but I am going with the general theme of Halloween. I am trying doing white media on black paper, because I found last year I really liked that process and the look it gives. But I have not done it in a while. I ended up also using some black inks to go back over the white in places or clean up some edges. The black acrylic ink I use blend with the color of the paper relatively well so it doesn't show too much.

All made with black and white acrylic inks, white acrylic paint and white colored pencil on Strathmore black Artagain paper using a dip pen and a round brush

I like the name Marsh Mafia. I like the textures of the frogs in the painting.

Your Inktober prompts are pretty good. I like the facial expressions of the zombie and the mad scientist. I like how the bat looks huge, and I like the pumpkin head.

On day 5, I like the square owl. I also like the glowing eyes on the skull and vampire. The clown and demon look good.
The invisible man is an interesting idea for day 10. I like the angles and shading on the rat on day 11. I like the sad crying ghost. I wonder why it's so sad.
I like the lighting of the witch.
I like the boxy look of the hound and Frankenstein's monster.
And I like the red lighting of the Cat, Lady, and Werewolf.

I like the atmosphere of the haunted house in the woods for day 19.
The Leviathan on day 20 must be extremely long or are there multiple ones in the background? That's interesting.
I like the Day 21 banshee. It looks like it's scared of something. Or it looks like it's about to scream.
The day 22 mummy has a pretty good angle like someone is looking at the mummy.
I like the smile on the scarecrow on day 23. I imagine it having glowing eyes if he moves his hat. The pattern of the shirt looks good as well.
The headless man-horse on day 24 is odd to look at. this reminds me of Manny the Horse from Ducktales episode 1.

I like the detail of the swamp monster from day 25. It looks like a mix between a squirrel and a dog. The scratches and fur texture were great.

The alien looks great on day 26. It looks like it's disguising itself as a human with the suit, hair, and hat.

I like the eye in the center of the apple on day 27, and the whispy texture. Is it some kind of alien?
I like the doll on day 28. It's weirdly cute with the eyes.

The monster under the bed on day 29 does look haunting. It's pretty good.
Is the boogyman on day 30 the one in red, or is it in the bag?
I like the silhouette on the reaper on day 31. Great work overall.
