Hey Folks, This is my first post on CubeBrush so far!
Short Brief: I am designing Gods purely from my imagination or using some references to help me with designs. I also use some symbolics from diferent cultures. I am planing on designing quite a few gods for this personal project and I've started with Godess of Air.

My main goal is to Iterate design as much as I possibly can, after I'm happy with design, I will move on to fully rendered character design piece, and after that I will do a illustration/splash art for each of the gods.

I need your opinions to help me choose which one of these I should push forward! Please comment down below with your favourites and any other ideas that could help me. (Ignore the weapon desings, as I will do seperate sheet for weapon iterations).

I like this idea ^^ It's a good thing that you're starting with sketches and many iterations, the best way to design imo. I think you can even simplify the first step more by drawing only silhouettes. After filtering that, you can draw in some details etc.

Nice stuff! Must have been a ton of work producing so many variations. : O

I think you could really improve your designs by breaking the silhouettes more, from a long glance a lot of these look very similar, the costumes hug the shape of the pose very closely. Trying more big external shapes on the edges of the design would help.

Also, just a thought, have you considered varying the body type of the base? Trying a very tall or very short goddess for instance?

Hey! Thank you for an amazing feedback! I will definitely look into making big external shapes for my next character! Unfortunately I am running out of time on this one so I can't really redisign it as I have deadline :smile: I did some really rough sketches of different characters that could represent my godess, and by asking peers for feedback in university I've decided to go with the one that I've posted :smile:
Also these were the first few designs that I came up with, though looking into feedback I've chosen the one that I've iterated after :smile:

Its cool ! I like everything about it except face. Gods often resmble humans but here on face we cant even see plains of face. In early stages when u showed ur concepr it looked like she had a triangle mask but on render it looks like its a part of her face which looks strange. I dont know if u intended this but for me it doesnt work, because humans most detailed part of body is face and ur loosing a focal point which in concept should be face in my opinion. If u squint ur eyes u cans see that the focal point is staff. Maybe u wanted to show staff idk xD . Also what i can tell ya gods are pretty powerful enities so would be nice to show off a bit of her power cuz she looks kinda weak here.
