The white mask seems to be from solid, hard material, but somehow it merges with / contours the nose perfectly? That shading above the nose is not something you'd ever get from hard material. To me it creates confusion and that is usually not something you want from an art piece.
Good job, it's a cool design and I like how you got the soft atmospheric tones around the edges of the image. It's missing a second level of detail that will really draw the viewer in. Have you thought about color? I'm not sure what your thoughts are on the eyes, but if you added some reflections in there it could help bring more focus. We tend to want to look into characters eyes and having them as black holes feels like a let down. You can have some subtle detail in there yet keep it dark.
