Some water creature sketches ^^

5 minute sketches and then me just doing some basic shadows on this little sketch :p

aaaand me actually colouring it although i could be making more sketches xD

Color Burst

scribbled some color and shadows in there, and i actually do like the energy of this one 0.o going in with the mermaid sketch ^^ this time i want to make something more clean

me finally getting a not overly long torso lol, i don't know why but i automatically always draw too long upper bodies 0.o

Wow ross really knows how to paint skin, and i learned a lot with this half study, i did copy his tones, but tried to put my own twist to it, and man, skin color is so much more colourful ( still in process)

It looks really nice! I think I like the one with the character more. It adds a some scale and also a bit more storytelling to the whole piece.

I might use this as a base for the World's competition o.o i could add a lot more below and to the sides

And this is what I'm currently working on ^^ I used my Deep glow painting as a base for the world competition and it very much is still in progress xD If you guys have any ideas or things to t on that could be better please let me know ^^ Since the idea of the World competition is that the old world from ArtWar came to an end and a new one is being built or was built over it. I want this to have a kind of chinese / not really advanced vibe to it while the high tech stuff is kinda in the background decaying

currently working on my face game ^^ not only how far i can detail it but also getting noses, mouths and shading right i got a great new book that surely thought me a lot about constructing faces

Ghost

I watched Ghost in the shell yesterday and I got really inspired to make a half robot half human situation still in progress..but yeah i wasn't able to work on it yesterday because my parents decided to pull out my pc cable....

guess this is my rendition of the ghost in the shell character ^^.So, for a little more context, after I came to the first state of painting a face just for fun and practise,I took a break and my dad told me he bought the movie ghost in the shell which made me super excited and im still in love with this film ^^ i actually used the 'blue face ' as a base for this version of the ghost in the shell :p

Looks good so far. The i can make out the different plains so you're definately on the right track. Can't wait for the rendering. What is the book if i may ask?

Oh wow! That's a gorgeous portrait! I think you it a great balance between smooth rendering and visible brushstrokes. I love the lighting with the blueish light coming from the bottom. And man... those eyes... they're beautiful. I can tell you're improving.
