Hello,
today I am posting the first (of 2) zbrush sculpted statue that are part of the ancient civilization's rests.
My teammate and me shared the work of blocking out, shaping and detailing in order to obtain this result on the highpoly.
As a plus, we will retopologize all highpoly meshes trying to obtain a low poly environment for the final submission.

This statue, carved on the high cliffs that served as a natural gate for the city, portrays a big "cthulhuish" octopus that the ancient civilization perhaps believed to be living in the sea beds.

Hi all! We haven't been able to post in a while but, that doesn't mean we haven't been working hard .
We've reworked the concept a bit and pretty much finished the modelling and packing. Only texturing and composition left! We decided to focus on the Kraken's statue and build on it the entire city.
We're gonna post updates more regularly from now on, starting with some of the modular props we're gonna use.
Hoping to get lots of feedback from you guys!

And more props!

Textures soon!

Good to see you back! Looking forward to what this turns out like  Looking great so far!

Hello!
today we are posting other meshes with the first texture and rendering tries.
Hope you like it and you can give us feedbacks

here the new meshes:

and here the first textures tries:

Now we are going to complete all the textures so we can assemble the scene and start working on the render for the final showing.

We added the terrain, the boat with some tents and the mountain in background.
The texture's scale on the bigger objects has yet to be fixed. We'll be working mostly to fix that and to begin placing lights and render passes.
The work so far:

Did you decide not to add your model to Sketchfab also? It could be a nice addition to see all the cool details.
Great work by the way, very impressive!

Thank you! Unfortunately, due to the time zone difference, it was a rush to even submit everything in time. We couldn't find the time and energy to import everything into sketchfab as well.
I'm sure we will be able to manage our time better next time!

Well, Sketchfab doesn't count as a submission, so if you feel like it, you can add it in a reply. Up to you
