Thank you! We are trying to push the production because there are so many things to do, characters, vehicles, and robots!
I've made some character sketches, three version of the girl, and some random villager.

Thank you all! I tried to keep the concepts as clean as possible, but of course sometimes things have to be made quickly.
Today I thumbnailed a little bit, to help us understand how do we want our composition. Sure, we already started out with a composition we liked, but I felt to explore some other possibilities. Our focal point will be for sure the girl on the vehicle, chased either by the big eyed robot or his swarm of minions.

Bohdan, I didn't know very much about Ingels, his works are great, and really very inspiring. Thanks for the suggestion!

We are back with some work.
I'm posting some wips of the ancient structure, we modeled the walls straight, and then we bent them to match the curve.
Then we started the texturing with the interior, now we're continuing with the external panels

New work in progress, today we did another test for the buildings' textures (so, for the second time, it's just one house repeated and flipped upside down! haha).
Also, we did some test with the lights.

Hi!
We just uploaded on Sketchfab the first textured house block.
We made the textures with 3d Coat, then exported into Unity; we baked some lights, composited the textures with Photoshop, and then tested them in Sketchfab.

Thank you Strkl! There are more buildings to come, we divided these house blocks into pieces and now we're texturing all of them.In this way we'll have way more freedom to place them where we need.

Meanwhile, I'm posting some signs to place on the side of the buildings; the concepts and the textured models

Some updates.
Texturing for the remaining buildings is finished (we'll post a little diorama we're making with them in the next days). We are also trying some more shots for the final scene, to understand which will fit the most.

Hi all! Yeah Bohdan, the point of interest will be the craft, and the robot behind her. Our favourite shot was the first one on the left, because it has a framing overlay, and a good sense of depth. So we went ahead with the blocking. We are currently texturing and modeling props and other little things.

Meanwhile, the texturing of the old structure is finished; we uploaded the model into Sketchfab (it's HUGE)
