Halloween Hag Critique

I wanted to bust out a nice piece for Halloween night, but my job kinda takes me away so I'm not able to work continously. While I don't hate this piece, I how long it takes me to get here, so I think I have workflow issues I need to work on. So far I've been working on her for about 5 days and every day varies from 4-6 hours of work. I got a little burnt out and decided maybe if I got some advice it'd motivate me to clean her up.

It looks like you have a good grasp of shape and lighting, which is good. Your anatomy looks a bit wonky though. Even though you may want it to look disfigured/dismembered, I strongly suggest that you take reference pictures of yourself or someone else in that position.

Do some quick sketch studies of arms, hands, and the shoulder area before coming back to this piece. Some things should "click" when you come back to this.

Also, that's a wonderful pumpkin. I would accentuate the light that comes out of it so it can pop a little bit more.

Thanks for the response! Yeah, I felt the hands were a bit wonky. I didn't use a reference initially because I thought I was cool and could just wing it, but nope. I'll give that a go and the pumpkin tip too. Thanks for your help! x)

I love the textures. I think her right breast would be shaped differently since the pumpkin is pressing up against it

Ooooh, hadn't considered that. I just watched a video recently emphasizing the importance and benefit of lost edges. I'm gonna try that out, thanks!
