Katarina - Art School (current term 2)

Hello my name is Katarina. I am 28 and I am currently working as an endoscopy nurse. I enrolled in this class because I want to push myself and see how much I can improve.
I have always had my head in the clouds and I want to see what I can create with improved skills and practice. Ideally I’d love to be able to sell my art in the future.

I love bright color, pop culture, and anime/manga.

Up until this point all of my digital art has been done tracing over my own sketches with my finger in the procreate app. I had a fourth generation I pad that was too old for the Apple Pencil. I’m so excited to be here and make some art gains!

One point perspective. This was harder than I anticipated! Perspective is hard to get your head around but I’m happy with what I accomplished for this assignment.

I also did a follow along drawing for the perspective class. I didn’t do all the details but I found it helpful to follow as closely as I could manage.

Reference practice for a #dtiys I’ve been following Marc brunets year schedule for art improvement. March has been a hard month to keep up with but I’m getting back on the horse for this last week and into April.
