Moving onto the character design assgnments!
I wrote out a schedule to follow and I'm trying to keep up with it, so I'm starting things before I finish others I'm trying to find a good pace and hoping to catch up by the end of the month. If not I'll have to re-analyze everything. Let's see what happens!
Anyway, I've completed my hero shapes. These were really fun and relaxing to do, especially when drawing along the video lecture. Can you guess the type and genre for each character? I'll write them out once I finish the silhouettes
I've also started the skeleton for my fantasy creature
Comments and critiques are always welcome.
I'm starting to get more and more comfortable using a tablet again and drawing lines. Less than a year ago my elbow, wrist and even ankle would hurt whenever I tried to draw. Now I feel a lot better and I'm not afraid to draw anymore.
I saw a few people talk about the best set up for drawing on Discord, and I think one of the most important things is to make sure your screen is high enough so you don't round your shoulders and pinch the nerves in your shoulder or neck. These have a big impact on your arm and can radiate down to your wrist, even if there isn't anything wrong with it.
