Starting to texture the shields, trying to look for a more fantasy style type of material definition. The idea is to change the colors with materials inside Unreal but I still want to make a more classic approach to texturing the shield without using materials. Don't know if a darker look would fit better

Started to create materials inside Unreal, always enjoy doing these kind of stuff is amazing what you can create inside the Material Editor! Here is some progress on the modular material I'm making for the shield, the idea is to be able to change everything. Also the progress was recorded here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/213224510
Planing to share the material once is finished!
Finished the master material for the shields, you can change the colors, reflective properties, normal map details and some gradient colors to make it more stylish!

More of these, it's amazing the power of repetition. The things that you had to think before they now become part of your subconscious and let you become more creative without thinking in technicalities.
