[Term 1 - Week 2]
Heya,
That's a wrap for week 2! It's been a little difficult juggling drawing with my schedule, so there are days I had to draw twice as much (to compensate, but also because I had time and enjoyed it).
I feel like I've become good enough at spotting action lines, except maybe for some weird poses.
As for the cylinders, I was already pretty comfortable with them, so I will probably stop doing them for now.
Assignment 3 was really fun and challenging. What I found most challenging was judging the perspective of the limbs from the photos for the cylinders but I think I learned a lot in that challenge.
Looking at week 3, I am really excited at tackling the 5 character studies, but I am still not quite sure exactly how I am to approach it. I think I will try to focus more on the proportions and shapes then the lines themselves.
Below, you can find some samples from my week 2's assignments!
That's the gist of it!
As always, I welcome any feedback and constructive criticism that will help me grow!
See you next Sunday (hopefully).
Cheers!
